My name is Deborah Wise, and I qualified as a solicitor in 2006, specialising in Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Probate. Over the course of 11 years, I worked with several respected law firms in Chester, building a strong foundation of legal expertise and a deep understanding of the needs of individuals and families planning for the future.

When working for law firms I was a full member of STEP (The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), a professional body recognised for setting the standard in the field of estate planning. I am currently in the process of renewing my membership, reflecting my continued commitment to upholding the highest professional standards.

In 2018, I made the decision to leave private practice and set up my own will writing business. Since then, the business has gone from strength to strength. My work is entirely client-focused: I firmly believe that the best advice begins with truly understanding the individual. Whether we meet in person or via video conference, I insist on face-to-face consultations so I can get to know you, your family dynamics, and your specific needs. I tailor every piece of advice to the unique circumstances of each client, with the aim of offering not just legally sound but also personally meaningful guidance.

In recent years, I have developed a particular focus on advising blended families, as well as clients with substantial estates requiring specialist advice on inheritance tax and asset protection. I am also passionate about making high-quality information accessible and affordable. To this end, I’ve been developing online seminars to help more people get the guidance they need in a cost-effective way.

More recently, I’ve joined forces with three former solicitors who are now actively seeing clients in their own geographic areas. This exciting collaboration is expanding our reach and strengthening the support we can offer. Meet the team..

I’m genuinely excited about the future of the business and I look forward to helping more individuals and families protect what matters most.

When I’m not working, I enjoy relaxing with my family, walking my French Bulldog Rio, and staying active at the gym.
